BIOCHAR SIZE SELECTION TABLE
Premium Engineered Organic Biochar
BIOCHAR PROCESSING FLOW:
The biochar production process begins with the raw, dry biochar entering the crusher, where it is broken down into smaller, more manageable pieces. These crushed biochar pieces are then fed into a four-output screener, where they are separated into four distinct sizes: chip, medium, small, and powder.
Each size has its unique characteristics and applications, making them versatile products for various industries. The biochar then undergoes further processing, including drying and activation, before being utilized in agriculture, environmental remediation, or other applications.
Available Packaging
We sell our Biochar in 1 cubic foot bags for the home garden retail market, and for our wholesale customers requiring truck or container loads, the Biochar is bagged in 1 cubic yard super sack.
When making Biochar size selection please note that for agricultural use including home gardens, the "Chip" and "Medium" sizes are used the most. For use as an additive to concrete, plastics, asphalt, cardboard pulp and for its many other industrial uses, please view the section below and fill out the request for consultation and quotation form.
Chip Biochar features the largest particle size (1 inch), offering robust structural support to the soil. This variant is excellent for long-term soil amendment.
Medium Biochar strikes a balance between fine and coarse particles size (Grain of Rice) . It offers a versatile solution that combines the benefits of fine Bio Char.
Small Biochar consists of smaller particles size (Grain of Sand) than the medium variant but still maintains a significant surface area. This variant is particularly effective.
Biochar Powder is the finest form of Bio Char size (Baking Flour), with a high surface area that enhances its ability to retain water and nutrients.
Please Note: Unlike those that sell Biochar by weight, we sell by volume, because Biochar absorbs almost 6 times its weight in water, which is not fair to the customer.
